And She's Off!

We took my mom to the Missionary Training Center this morning. Here she is, in front of the building with her luggage:

Yeah, I know she's sideways. Tip your head and you'll be fine.

Here I am with her right before we said goodbye:

This is not a camera trick -- she really is that short.

It will be kind of weird to have her gone, but we wholeheartedly support what she's doing and it will be fun to see her have such a good time.

And if anyone knows a simple way to turn pictures the right way without it being a twelve-step process, I'd appreciate it.

You've anticipated everything I was going to say. I saw the sideways picture and wondered why she was lying (laying?) down with her luggage. Then I wondered if she were really that short. She's so cute!

Good luck to her.

You should have an "rotate" option in the editing software that came with your camera.

The MTC still looks the same, although we didn't have all that snow the summer of '87. It must be new.

To rotate a picture (in Windows XP - I left Apple tech support 14 years ago), right-click on the image and select "Preview." This should bring up Windows Picture and Fax Viewer.

At the bottom are two rotate buttons (with little green triangles). Click them until the sky is on top. No need to save - that's done automatically.

mine is totally the easiest way to rotate photos... I have my husband do it:) (and everything else technical or computer related)

congrats to your mom.

I was going to say what Don said. Or you can open the image in paint and go to "flip/rotate" and rotate it by degrees, but then you have to save it.

LOL about "turn your head sideways and you'll be fine."

I got tagged, now it's your turn! Go to my blog and check out the 5 questions I answered, then answer them on your blog. Then tag 5 more people. Have fun! Your mom looks great! Hope she has a great time.
