I Can Only Imagine

This song so closely mirrors my own feelings. Every time they play it on the radio, I have to flip it off if I'm trying to drive, because my eyes fill up with tears. Enjoy.

I always associate this song with a beautiful ballet number I saw once at a kids talent show.

Hey Tristi - just catching up with you - I am totally impressed with your organized gift shopping - excellent! And a belated happy birthday to your hubby. I like this song too.

What a beautiful song. Thanks for sharing! I hadn't heard it before. (I guess that shows how bad the play list out here can be!)

Okay, I may now start tearing up whenever I hear this song. I've loved this song, but never seen the video. I never thought of this song as meeting loved ones in heaven (even though it's obvious we will when we get there).

Tristi,
This is the neatest song ever! Did you know they made a little book to go with about how and why the song was written? It also has a bunch of stories from people about how the song affected them. Thanks for sharing.

I also had to add that as soon as my 4 year old heard the first 3 notes of this song, she said, "I'm gonna go get my ballerina." Which means that she is putting on her ballet outfit so she can dance. It is inspiring to watch my sweet little ones dance.

How very beautiful. Imagination is such an amazing gift from God. Whatever would we do without it?

I love this song - it makes me bawl every time. Just like "angel" by...oh gosh, what is the name of that LDS singer? Grrr, I've totally forgotten.

Ahhh Tristi. I had never heard this song before. I was touched by the words but also by the video. All those pictures made me think of my mom. I can't wait to see her again! What a joy that will be.

This was played at the funeral of a young girl in our church last week. You can imagine the emotion it stirred up. There wasn't a dry eye in the church.
