Thanks for entering to win Cold River by Liz Adair. The winner of this novel is Andrea!
Now, before I announce the next prize, I'd like to take a second to answer some questions that were submitted for this event.
Sheila asked: "What has been the most rewarding part of being published?"
I answered: "I feel rewarded in a number of different ways. I love making my readers cry, and when someone tells me they cried while reading my book, I take that as the highest compliment. I love connecting to readers. I love sharing my experiences with others. I also love mentoring writers on their own path to publication."
Anna Maria asked: "Are you self-published, traditionally published, or both?"
I answered: "I'm both. I traditionally published all but five of my books, and those five were self-published. I have plans to keep publishing with my publisher, and also to self-publish a few things my publisher decided to pass on."
Anna asked, "When (if) you get stuck on what to write in your manuscript, what do you do to break through it?"
I answered, "It's a when, not an if ... everyone gets stuck. I put the project aside and think about other things for a while. I'll watch a movie or leave the house or take a long nap. Sooner or later, the idea of how to fix my problem will pop into my head because I let my brain relax. I think most incidents of writer's block come from being impatient and trying to force it."
I will answer more submitted questions in a few days. In the meantime, if there's anything you'd like to ask, just leave the question in my comment trail.
Now, what is the prize this time around, you ask???
All war. No love. Madeleine’s been hurt too many times in the dating scene to let Byron beat her in some huge prank war. They’ve had their deserters, their POWS, their casualties, but no one can risk losing the battle of the sexes.
Except now something strange is happening at the college...and it’s not just the students. Buried deep beneath the pranks is real danger, and the only other person who suspects is Byron. Should Mad join sides with him or does that mean forfeiting her heart to the enemy?
I really enjoyed reading this fun comedy/suspense, and you can win your own e-book copy of Prank Wars donated by author Stephanie Fowers. All you need to do is leave a comment in the trail for this post. You can come back tomorrow and leave a comment on tomorrow's post as well, giving you two chances to win.
Good luck ... and start commenting!!
