I love Rob Wells. No, I don't mean that in a creepy, stalker-ish way (I only stalk Dean Hughes)nor do I mean that in an ooey-gooey way (we're both very happily married, to other people, plus I'm a couple of years older than he is. Plus, that's just way weird, and shame on you for even thinking it). I mean it in a, "Man, he is so stinkin' funny" sort of way, and perhaps even a, "Man, I wish I was even half that funny" sort of way. Plus he's a really nice guy. But it's not his niceness I'm talking about today, but rather, his stinkin' funniness.
My sister regularly informs me that I'm the source of her entertainment, and that if I don't post at least a couple of times a week, she has nothing to live for. Well, that's quite a lot of pressure to put on a person ... Quick! Be funny on demand! So I thought I would dovetail and combine Rob Wells Appreciation Day and Keep My Sister Happy Day into the same day, thereby bringing even more joy to the masses.
Therefore, I bring you - Some of Tristi's Favorite Ever Rob Wells Posts, in No Particular Order.

I'd say That top link gets my first vote, aside from the fact that it was about my covers. It was sheer brilliance.
The blog he did with an "interview" with Steinbeck was right up there.
He "interviewed" me more than once, however:

And this was one supposedly with me and Heather Moore:

And I'm too lazy to look it up now, but the one between Edward and Teen Wolf was pretty darn funny too.
I consider Rob the little brother I never had. He's one of the awesomest people I know. Love that guy. (And in the way you indicated--not the creepy way.)
Thanks for posting this Tristi! I actually have known Rob for YEARS (although I know him as Robbie... yeah. It has been that long.) Our Dad's go way, way, way back. I'll have to take a look at his blog!
rob totally rocks and I love him too. I can't pin down one particular funny thing because he is funny ALL the time.
I LOVED the Annette Lyon graphic novel post. It was the. best. ever.
The graphic novel is my favorite. Very unique . . . like Rob:-)
Ummmmm, should I even admit that I don't know who he is? Apparently, I need to do some research!
My favorite was his Columbus Day post on the Frog Blog. I can't even remember laughing that hard. Well, except for on Kristina's post about SuperDell. ;)
The Christmas one a few years ago when he interviewed Edward, Scrooge and the dentist elf from Rudolf. We read that one out loud at my family Christmas--everyone was rolling. And then I loved the crafty signs that quoted Hitler and other upstanding citizens willing to go on record. I honestly don't know how he does it--the man needs to get back to writing his books!
One of my favorites is his interview with Edward Cullen. I still laugh over that one!
I'm biased - I still laugh when I read the interview he did with me and the poster he made up for "The Nephite Who Loved Me" (starring Edward Cullen, of course).
Tristi, this makes me want to cry. (In a good way. Mostly.)
Thanks!!!
