My Two Shows

I haven't said a whole lot this year about my two shows, "American Idol" and "Dancing with the Stars." In years past, I've given you my weekly thoughts and have just had so much going on this year, I haven't had the time. However, I'm now breaking my silence.

Holy cow.

This week there were two performances that moved me to tears, I found them so beautiful.

First was the Paso Doble performed by Cheryl Burke and Gilles Marini on "Dancing with the Stars."

That's what it's all about, people.

Then was the performance by Adam Lambert on last night's "American Idol." I did have a YouTube clip on here, but apparently it broke some copyright laws. I'll have to see if I can find a legal one.

Ahhh Gille. Can you say eyes glued to the 42" HDTV while drooling? It was abolutely amazing. Kinda makes me want to ballroom dance.

Would you believe that I've never seen either of these shows? I know, I know, I'm hopelessly out of touch!

I'm mixed about Adam Lambert. He is defiantly very talented and I too really liked this weeks performance from him and the one two weeks ago. I predict that he will be the next idol.

Tristi! Its no wonder we're kindred spirits in another life! I'm sooo hooked on American Idol -- ever since David Archaletta and David Cook were in the running. I loved them both --- for different reasons, obviously! And now there's Adam and Danny! I love them both -- again, for different reason! That Adam is a cutie --- and Danny has got a smile that never ends! I think after Adams last few performances, he may be the next Idol. But Danny definitely has his future mapped out for him.

And Dancing With The Stars?! What can I say?! Gilles and Cheryl are amazing! I'm kind of hooked on Shawn and her partner too. Every week is different! Derek and Little Kim caught my attention tonight as well with that Jitter Bug! I hate to see it all come to an end! What does one do for three nights a week -- in the evenings? Read a book?!
