Torn Apart – Diony George

Torn Apart” is a novelization of the author’s own experiences as a young wife who finds out that her husband has been indulging in pornography. Using the character name of “Alyson,” we go with her as she meets and marries Jared, the man of her dreams, only to discover little things about him as they go along. She didn’t know he’d come home early from his mission for the LDS Church, and she didn’t know he’d been involved with a sister missionary from his area.

I left a comment about this book on your other site (where you did the review). I like the look of your blog Tristi. The photo of ancient tomes is awesome!!! I can’t think of anything more fascinating than leafing through a book that was published over one hundred years ago. Poignant feelings of profound reverence thrill my soul at each and every one of my too-few opportunities to gently touch brittle and yellowed pages of the distant past. (I just pulled out a 1909 volume I cherish – just to make sure it was still resting peacefully on my shelf.) Wow! The tender loving care of an author can sure live a long time!
