For once I was able to go out early this morning and vote. In the past I've either been working, or my husband worked and I didn't want to take the kids.
Just worked out perfect that he is working swing today, and I went and voted before he went to work. It was nice to be able to walk in, vote and leave. No long lines like I usually have to do.
The whole family got ready and off we went to vote. =) Emily's 18 so she got to vote for the first time - I was so proud of her. =) Bert took Andrew in with him, and Andrew voted for Bert. I took Ben in with me and he voted for me. It was a great experience for me to be able to describe to Ben how I prayed about it and how I strived to have the Spirit with me so that I would know I was voting for the candidate for which the Lord would have me vote. =)
It was 9am; we walked right in, voted, and were out a few minutes later. Amazing! =)
