May I just say, "Oooo La La!" Read my review here.

Sounds good! I recently read "Me & Mr. Darcy" by Alexandra Potter. Similar idea. Love the concept, but was hugely unimpressed by the writing style and the main character. Bleh. This one sounds more like the book I -thought- I was buying.

I loved Austenland. It was, for me, one of those neglect-the-kids and read the whole day kind of books. Doesn't happen too often, but definitely with this one. Thanks for a great review. And thanks Kimberly for telling us about Me & Mr. Darcy.I was thinking of reading that one.

I've heard mixed reviews of this one, and I was a little leery of reading it because I didn't want to be disapointed, but you've convinced me to give it a shot.

I just finished reading it this morning. I really liked it. I'm a huge Austen fan, but not obsessive compulsive... well, maybe just a little. But it was great overall.

While I liked P & P and I do like Colin firth, I read this book because I love Shannon Hale. Her young adult books are so well written and she is very funny. So I like Austenland because it was so entertaining. Glad you did too.
