We think that if we missed doing it once, it's all over for us.Tristi Pinkstonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12122250747480013804noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31281717.post-34686717663877806432009-01-03T23:21:00.000-07:002009-01-03T23:21:00.000-07:00I think the problem is that we beat ourselves up t...I think the problem is that we beat ourselves up too much over mistakes. And it's frustrating because for two months out of the year I feel like I have to fight for machines I usually walk right up to and use.

But you're right about goals. It's important to set goals you can work on daily and weekly, rather than resolving to just get it done at some point.

After all, most people set goals in order to improve their lives, health, and circumstances, and all those things are progressive rather than instantaneous. Right?

Great post.

NicholeNichole Gileshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12536148445303996747noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31281717.post-11439837264575821072009-01-02T15:37:00.000-07:002009-01-02T15:37:00.000-07:00Great point--and a goal has flexibility, whereas a...Great point--and a goal has flexibility, whereas a resolution seems so exact.
