Blogging Awards

I'm so excited!! Karen at Over the Backyard Fence just gave me these awards:

The Creative Blogger Award is for those who bring unique and creative elements to their blogs. For those who incorporate art, music, creative writing, photo's, and other beautiful visual effects into their website. For those who put a unique spin on things and come up with new ideas. This award is for the artsy, the funky, the inventor, and even the rebel. This award is for those creative individuals who stand out from the crowd.

The Thoughtful Blogger Award is for those who answer blog comments, emails, and make their visitors feel at home on their blogs. For the people who take others' feelings into consideration before speaking out and who are kind and courteous. Also for all of those bloggers who spend so much of their time helping other bloggers design, improve, and fix their sites. This award is for those generous bloggers who think of others.

The only way to get these awards is to have them passed along by another blogger, so I now have the honor of selecting a few worthy individuals who have made an impact on me with their blogging. There have been so many, but these are the bloggers I have chosen:

LDS Publisher: For always responding to questions and working tirelessly to help new writers understand the ins and outs of the publishing world, I give you The Thoughtful Blogger Award.

Robison Wells: For making me laugh my head off every time I read your posts by using your unique and somewhat insane writer's voice, I give you The Creative Blogger Award. But you can only keep it if you promise to blog more often.

Girl in a Whirl: I only discovered this blog recently, but have been touched by the blogs and by the way Ali responds to comments in her trail. Ali, I give you The Thoughtful Blogger Award.

Gardens By the Lake: I used to be a florist and I miss surrounding myself with fresh flowers every day. I love to go see what Kris has posted -- her pictures are gorgeous and I always feel refreshed after strolling through her garden. Kris, I give you The Creative Blogger Award.

Ladies (and gentleman) copy these award buttons and post them on your blog. Wear them in health, live long and prosper, and go forth and conquer.

And Karen -- thank you for thinking so highly of me!

No Way! Tristi, I was just feeling badly today because I haven't had a chance to respond to the comments left on my latest blog! AND it's my birthday and it's not going as swimmingly as my fantasies promised me it would. So YOU, my friend, have totally just made my day.

Thank you for your sweet comments and for thinking of me. Hugs to you!

I do confess I was a bit confused there for a half-second! Thanks for clarifying that was you!

Tristi, I would trust you with my password in a second. The only thing is, since I had my blog done by a web designer, it doesn't work the same as the way you described. I have to go into the http format and I can't figure out how to get the little buttons in that format. Get it? If you know how, I would greatly appreciate your help.

Tristi - thank you! That was very, very nice of you, and I totally appreciate it. I am glad you didn't give me the thoughtful blogger award because I've been horrible the past month or so about posting and answering comments!!!

I love when you visit my blog, so I'm very happy that you enjoy your visits. Your comments always make my day. I have to add that Karen definitely chose a good recipient when she gave you these awards - I always have fun when I visit your blog too!
